Hello all. I’ve been on a mini blogging hiatus but I’m back and there are some changes to the blog. For one, you may have noticed that the layout of the blog has changed. This new layout reflects a simplicity that parallels the organic feeling I am trying to convey with The Unpainted. Along with the layout, the theme of the blog has changed as my own personal motivations have evolved. In the past, The Unpainted had glimmers of sustainable fashion, natural beauty, and healthy lifestyle but now the whole theme of the blog is the get back to healthy, clean, and sustainable living…the unpainted natural you.
Okay enough of that and onto the outfit.
As I mentioned earlier, my personal style has changed. When I edited my wardrobe earlier this year, I noticed that the pieces that I loved most were neutrals and basics. Along with the closet purge, I also went through some old blog posts and noticed that I was almost embarrassed of a lot of my outfits. What pray tell was the culprit? Colours and “trendy” clothes were the main offenders. So now it’s time to get back to basics. This means both basic colours as well as basics of a wardrobe such as plain t-shirts or a black blazer. I hope you enjoy this journey with me as I transition my wardrobe into one that is minimalistic and sustainable.
